“The Board of Commissioners of the South Carolina State Housing Finance and Development Authority (SC Housing) has announced that Robert Macdonald will serve as the agency’s next executive director.
Macdonald, who has served as SC Housing’s chief of staff since July 2024, will succeed Executive Director Richard Hutto, who is set to retire in January.
Chosen for his leadership, deep understanding of the agency’s mission, and proven record of guiding SC Housing’s programs and initiatives, Macdonald’s appointment ensures continuity and stability for the organization.”
