We celebrated the Grand Opening of Carrington Manor, a new affordable housing community in Beaufort developed by Commonwealth Development Corp. and supported by BJHT and key regional partners. The grand opening was held on November 18 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, refreshments, and tours of the building and select units.
Carrington Manor brings 64 new affordable homes to our community, with 1- and 2-bedroom layouts, and amenities including a fitness and community room, business center, meeting space, and on-site management. The Energy Star-certified design ensures high-quality, sustainable living for residents, particularly seniors and working households.
This milestone represents the first development BJHT has invested in—a meaningful step forward in expanding safe, affordable, and attainable housing options across Beaufort and Jasper Counties.
