BJHT staff participated in a 2025 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) roundtable discussion last month. The QAP is the guiding document that developers use for new affordable housing units. The Board of Directors approved funding totaling $984,000 for home repair and homebuyer assistance at their May meeting. Eight organizations will receive funding to further their programs. We are currently interviewing each organization that has applied for funding through our Home Repair and Homebuyer Assistance RFP. We received applications from more than ten organizations, with total requests exceeding $1 million. The Board will review these requests and make decisions regarding the funding at the upcoming May Board meeting.
