More than 50 community leaders, elected officials, developers, and nonprofit partners came together in September for Blueprint for Change: A Solutions Forum on Workforce and Affordable Housing, hosted by the Beaufort-Jasper Housing Trust.
Dr. Laura Ullrich delivered an engaging and data-driven presentation connecting regional economic realities to the housing challenges facing our workforce. Her insights set the tone for honest, solution-oriented discussions that followed.
Participants then broke into small groups to examine key areas from housing code reform to streamlining development process at the local level. These candid conversations underscored both the urgency and opportunity to align local policies, partnerships, and resources to make real progress.
